Napier - Ahuriri
We arrived in Napier to a beautiful sunset. U ana Kahungunu.
Our second presentation was held at the Paisley Lounge and what another great success. This venue was amazing, with cosy couches, retro art deco and Napier you really showed up for this korero, it was lovely meeting all our beautiful whanau and we are overwhelmed with the massive amount of support we have received.
Massive shout out and thank you to our coordinators Tina and Peni for all our efforts in helping us bring our presentation to your town an AMAZING promo video. We had a lovely couple of days to relax and recharge. We had two guest speakers who felt a calling to share their stories with us all, we see you, we hear you, thank you for being brave and for feeling comfortable in this space.
As we left Napier, we were invited to spend some time out at Te Reinga with our Sister who shared with us her knowledge and story of hapu governance. We were blessed with an absolutely breathtaking hikoi around her whenua, Te Reinga falls was incredibly powerful, refreshing and revitalizing.
