The focus has been on public areas that have been accessible to people in the relevant age bands but as of 1 September, vaccinations became available for everyone over the age of 12.

Under the new approaches it’s very likely that registered providers may approach you to use your school as a vaccination site for students (and possibly whānau and the wider community).


As we’ve said before, the use of school facilities is a matter for your board to decide.

Becoming a vaccination site


If your board wishes to be proactive about increasing the uptake of vaccinations in your school and/or community, contact your local District Health Board.


If you wish to communicate with your community regarding COVID-19 vaccines, we’d expect that your information would come from the following trusted sources:


 

Time to deliver those notices of liability, by joining the Concerned Parents Law Counsel and following their guidance with the enforcement of the fee schedule.
